Jason Blackbourn is a former Police detective who spent years investigating serious crime, including homicides and organised criminal groups. After developing PTSD, he was medically retired in his early 40s and had to reconsider the direction of his life. Jason has also experienced the loss of a child, giving him a personal understanding of grief, uncertainty and rebuilding after difficult circumstances. Jason now writes and speaks about resilience, faith and finding purpose when life doesn't go as planned. His message combines real stories from criminal investigations, personal experiences and biblical principles to explore how we can recognise God's direction, even when we don't know what comes next. He is represented by Curtis Brown Australia for his upcoming book, After The Damage, and is passionate about sharing practical lessons that encourage people to move forward with faith, confidence and purpose.
